Star System Initialization Modes
The Star System Registration Console now supports three initialization modes, selectable at time of core commit. The operator must designate one mode before registration will proceed.
EMPTY mode registers a star system with only the primary star configuration. The operator specifies spectral type and luminosity class; all orbital bodies may be surveyed and entered at a later time. This mode is appropriate when manual data entry is preferred or when survey data is incomplete.
RANDOM mode delegates system generation to the onboard procedural synthesis engine. No additional parameters are required. The generator will produce a complete star system in accordance with standard IISS probability tables.
BUILD CONFIGURATION mode accepts a YAML directive packet specifying system composition constraints. This mode permits the operator to define stellar primaries, orbital body counts, and other generation parameters prior to synthesis. A reference specification is available via the linked documentation module on the registration form.
