Moon
Displays the survey record for a natural satellite. Data is organised into tabs corresponding to each digit of the Universal World Profile, plus a supplementary Orbital tab. Moons orbit a planetary body rather than a stellar primary; orbital distances are expressed in planetary diameters.
Tabs
- Orbital
- Orbital radius in planetary diameters, period, effective HZCO deviation, periapsis and apoapsis (km), tidal lock status, sidereal day, twilight zone flag, and the location hierarchy up through the parent planet, star system, and sector.
- Starport
- Starport classification (A–E, X), allegiance, and travel zone.
- Physical
- Diameter (km), mass (Earth masses), surface gravity (g), density (Earth relative), mean temperature (°C, with periapsis and apoapsis temperature shown underneath — omitted for bodies generated before this breakdown existed), rotation period (hours), axial tilt, albedo, and greenhouse factor.
- Atmo
- Atmosphere code and composition. Tainted atmospheres include irritant subtype, severity, and persistence ratings.
- Hydro
- Hydrographics code, liquid type, and surface distribution.
- Pop
- Population code with headcount range, concentration rating, urbanisation percentage, major city count, and cultural indices.
- Gov
- Government type, authority, centralisation, and governmental structure. Not shown when population and this value are both 0.
- Law
- Law level code with sub-ratings covering restrictions and judicial system. Not shown when population and this value are both 0.
- Tech
- Overall technology level code with per-category sub-ratings. Not shown when population and this value are both 0.
